Borders Group Inc., the book and media retailer filed for chapter 11 on Wednesday. They will be closing roughly 200 stores including the five metro Atlanta locations listed below.

• Austell at 1605 East-West Connector
• Near Mall of Georgia at 1705 Mall of Georgia Boulevard
• Near Town Center Mall in Kennesaw at 605 Ernest W. Barrett Parkway

The St. Regis Atlanta has been purchased by the Tavistorck Group, a private investment company based in Florida. The terms of the deal were not disclosed.
