Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Preparation and review of financial models and underwriting for investments in real estate businesses as well as individual acquisitions and dispositions.
  • Preparation of internal & external investment memorandums and other investor related materials.
  • Preparation of weekly operations reporting and analysis, monthly financial statement analysis; and development of cash flow budgets.
  • Performs on-going analysis as we make decisions on whether to provide capital to for-sale homebuilding companies, for-rent homebuilding companies, and land developers.
  • Private equity due diligence, including market research used to create asset level business plans.
  • Oversight and management of investor relations.

Qualifications/Skills and Knowledge Requirements:

  • 6 – 10 years of finance and real estate experience.
  • High level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • High aptitude for financial analysis and accounting; specifically, financial modeling and forecasting.
  • Organized and detail oriented.
  • Strong work ethic and ability to be flexible and multi-task.
  • Independent worker who enjoys an entrepreneurial environment.
  • Limited travel will be required.
  • Bachelor’s and/or Master’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Real Estate, or Economics.  Strong academic success.
